Login to your PACER account by visiting https://pacer.uscourts.gov. Click Manage Your Account and then click Manage My Account Login. Click the Maintenance tab and then click Update Address Information or Update E-Filer Email Noticing and Frequency.
How do I find my password should I forget it?
Visit https://pacer.uscourts.gov, click Manage Your Account and then click Forgot Username or Password.

How does an attorney request a Certificate of Good Standing?
- Login to NextGen CM/ECF through Pacer for the United States District Court Southern District of Illinois
- Click on the Civil menu item
- Click on the Certificate of Good Standing link under the Good Standing section
- Follow the instructions indicated within CM/ECF
How does an attorney request a replacement Admission Certificate from the court?
The cost for a replacement Admission Certificate is $20.00. The request should be made in writing and include the attorney's name, address to return the document, and check made payable to Clerk of Court. Mail the requests to either the East St. Louis Clerk's Office or Benton Clerk's Office.
If I am pro hac vice only, can I reuse my login and password for future cases with this court?
Yes, you may reuse your previously assigned login and password for future cases as long as you remain in good standing with the bar and this district court. You will need to file a motion for pro hac vice in each new case.
May I use my login and password from other districts in this court?
Central Sign-On functionality allows to use one account to e-file in all NextGen courts (appellate, bankruptcy, and district) which they practice, and to login to PACER nationwide.
What name do I use to sign my documents?
Attorneys should sign their documents by using the name they used to register as a bar member in our court.
